- Latin Jazz for Adults:
Be prepared to move and have fun! Latin Jazz is a popular style performed with energy in class, in social settings, and by choreographers working with famous stars! This session focuses on classic jazz moves with a Latin twist, using cha-cha, salsa, samba, and other rhythms. Movement will be accompanied by Latin music obtained from imported CDs and club mixes danced in the US. Participants will practice two movement styles in one! The school was founded in 1964 when a group of parents opened the first integrated non-sectarian non-profit preschool in Augusta. It was the only preschool with an ‘open door’ policy and was entirely administered by the parents.
