Founded in 1993, The Australian International College of Language (AICOL) is the oldest English language school on the Gold Coast of Queensland in the north-east region of Australia. Our school is conveniently located in Southport, a suburb of the city of Gold Coast (just a 1 hour flight from Sydney and 1.5 hours from Melbourne). We provide high quality, accredited English language courses both year-round and in summer for international students from around the world of all ages and abilities, including our English language course for academic purposes. All courses are CRICOS registered for student visas.

The Australian International College of Language provides an excellent and supportive learning environment for students, as well as highly qualified and experienced ESL teachers. 

AICOL Online English School in Australia: We are also able to provide online tuition to those students who are not able to come to Australia yet due to Covid. Using Zoom video technology, we are delivering our Academic English course (which includes IELTS test preparation).

Academic English for University & Other Third-level Studies:
Course Length:  Study English in Australia from 1-48 weeks.

This course has an entry requirement of Upper-Intermediate level proficiency in English and aims to prepare students for tertiary studies in Australia at diploma, undergraduate or postgraduate level.

Students undergo a highly intensive programme of study, which includes: Academic Writing, Presentation and Seminar Skills, Note-taking, Library and Research Skills, Study Skills and Computer Competency.

The programme also prepares students for the international tests - IELTS, Cambridge FCE (B2 First) and CAE (C1 Advanced), TOEIC and TOEFL - the English language examinations required for entry to university and to TAFE.
