New Zealand College of Business, Christchurch:
New Zealand College of Business (also known as NZCB) is located in Christchurch city central. NZCB is recognised by both the New Zealand Ministry of Education and the New Zealand Qualification Authority (NZQA). It is an institute which provides students with Business Administration Courses, from Level 4 to Level 7 – equivalent to bachelor degree Level. The New Zealand College of Business will provide high quality academic instruction and support at a tertiary level to international students and encourage them to reach their full potential in both study and towards a future successful career.

Students and staff come from all over the world to study and teach at NZCB. Our programmes are focused on the global marketplace and many of our students find work offshore after graduation. Due to the mix of cultures at NZCB, students gain unique opportunities to learn, not only from books and lecturers, but also from their classmates. Many cross-cultural friendships and business ventures have developed within the NZCB family.
Our dedicated teaching staff enjoy personal contact with students and class numbers are kept low to maintain quality standards. Typically there are less than 30 students in every class. Compare this to classes of over 300 elsewhere. As a result, our students receive more personal attention and are more able to maximise their potential at NZCB.
Nuturing and Support:
Due to the smaller class sizes, our lecturers have the time to get to know students’ personal study needs, and help you set realistic targets. We are here to help you during your stay with New Zealand College of Business. English language tutorials and support programmes are available for students who do not have English as their first language.
The course has multiple entry points system allows students to fast-track programmes. Dedicated students can complete a certificate or diploma in a shorter time than at most traditional institutions, allowing them to enter the workforce more quickly.
Flexibility of Entry:
Student may enter the course at the commencement of each module/paper in every two month. Student has not IELTS result can subject to a NZCB Entry test.
Students applying to NZCB from other institutions may apply for credit transfers once they have arrived to begin their studies. NZCB and CPIT formally establish a co-operative relationship and signed an agreement regarding credit transfer.
Orientation Programme:
From your first day at the College, your tutors will give you an Orientation Programme, which will help you get the most benefit from your studies at the College. If you are a newcomer to this country, the Orientation Programme will also help you settle into life in New Zealand.
All the tutors at the College are highly qualified and trained professionals. Our tutors have wide experience in teaching to students from all over the world.

The Canterbury region is situated on the east coast of the South Island, and is the country’s largest geographic region consisting of 45,345 square kilometers of approximately a quarter of the South Island. Christchurch’s international airport, located just 12km north-west of the city, is the gateway to the South Island. It has more sunshine and less rainfall than most major world cities with an average of 2040 sunshine hours per year.
