Gastronomicom International Culinary Academy has brought its own brand of French Michelin star cooking classes to Miami FL. We provide a wide range of French Cooking and Pastry certificate programs to students from the U.S. and abroad (including an overseas program where students study and work in the South of France). Our refined cooking courses are conducted by French chefs with a wealth of experience in the field.

Students in these courses choose a specialized Cooking or Pastry module• Discovery Program (1 week or 2 weeks)
Designed especially for non-professionals or "amateurs" who wish to discover the high standards of French cooking or pastry, this short program is taught over 1 week or 2 weeks.
You will have 4 hours of hands-on classes each day, 5 days per week. All of your weekends are free.
Our primary goal is that you learn a lot of new recipes, improve your skills with advice from our highly-skilled instructors, and enjoy your stay with us in Miami.

We guarantee exclusively hands-on classes, and students work in teams of two to help each other. We will provide many tips and a lot of expert advice on how to make dishes or desserts easily, and to produce very tasty food with beautiful decoration and presentation.
• 1 Month Gourmet Program (80 hours) - Taught at Levels I, II, or III
Designed for both beginners or culinary professionals wishing to learn or improve their knowledge in French Cooking or Pastry, this short program is taught at a 1 Michelin star level.
It is taught over 4 weeks, with 4 hours of hands-on classes each day, 5 days per week. All your weekends are free. Our main objective is to ensure that you learn a lot of recipes and enjoy your time with us in Miami.
This course is taught at Level I, II, and III. Intake dates differ depending on whether you are at beginner, advanced, or professional level, so please contact us below for specific details.

• 2 Month Epicure Program (160 hours) - Taught at Levels I and II
Suitable for both beginners and professionals who wish to learn French Cooking or Pastry, or improve their current knowledge, this program is taught at a 1 Michelin star level.
It comprises 2 Modules (each 4 weeks long) with different dishes along with a higher level of difficulty taught in the second month. For 8 weeks, you will have 4 hours of hands-on classes per day, 5 days per week. All of your weekends are free.
It is our goal to provide you with a new recipes portfolio, the ability to work well in a team, increased creativity, tips and tricks from our highly-skilled instructors, and a memorable experience in Miami.Course Content

Different dishes with a higher degree of difficulty (Level II) are taught in the second month.
• 3 Month Gastronomic Program (240 hours) - Taught at Levels I, II and III
This 12-week course consists of the 8-week Epicure program (as described above) followed by 4 weeks of teaching at Level III. Choose to focus on either French Cooking or Pastry.
The aim of this program is to teach you the latest high level techniques in either French Cooking or Pastry. This will improve your skills and help you to add more creativity to your dishes.
• 1 year Special Miami / South of France Internship Program:
Course Duration: 12 months. You choose to study either French Cooking or Pastry.
- 3 months study in Miami
- 3 months study in the South of France
- 6 months internship in France
This special program has been designed for beginners, professionals, or people who want to take the first steps towards a new career. Ideal for those who want to learn French Cooking or Pastry, or improve their current knowledge, it is taught at a 1 Michelin star level. You choose to study either Cooking or Pastry.
This program provides you with the opportunity to experience life in the beautiful city of Miami, and also allow you to discover the Languedoc Roussillon region (at the Mediterranean seaside in the south of France), close to the Spanish border.
Taught by chefs with different gastronomic techniques and years of experience in top-end hotels and/or restaurants, you will learn a lot from our hands-on classes. In each location, you will have different teachers with different experiences and personalities, and you will have an opportunity to explore two very different cultures .
During the 6 months of practical training, you will focus on either Cooking or Pastry, in order to have a good level for the internship.
- 3 months in Miami (Cooking OR Pastry)
This program comprises 3 modules (each of 4 weeks), with different dishes with a higher level of difficulty taught in the second month and the third month. You will study for 12 weeks, with 4 hours of hands-on classes per day, 5 days per week. All of your weekends are free.
On arrival in Miami, your level of French will be assessed. Depending on your proficiency, French lessons are highly recommended for participants while you are studying in Miami.

You will have one month free in between in order to apply for the Student Visa and to organize your travel to France.
- 3 months in the south of France (Cooking OR Pastry)
This program comprises 3 modules (each of 4 weeks), with different dishes with a higher level of difficulty taught in the second month and in the third month.
You will study for 12 weeks, with 3 hours of hands-on classes per day, 5 days per week. You will also have 3 hours of intensive French lessons per day. All of your weekends are free.

Your highly-qualified and experienced teachers will teach students many tips and tricks in order to learn new skills and progress professionally. Students work in teams of two.
- 6 Months internship in a Gastronomic Restaurant in France (1 Michelin star level)Completing an internship at the end of your program allows you to learn how a real kitchen works and to further develop your new skills.
If you choose to do an internship, we will organize a placement in a Gastronomic Restaurant in France, depending on your skill level.
Gastronomicom students receive a stipend of 436 Euro per month (fixed regular sum paid) once the internship period of the training begins, as well as food and accommodation.
Gastronomicom collaborates exclusively with top-end Hotel-Restaurants and Restaurants in France such as Leading Hotels of the World, the Relais-Châteaux, and other Luxury Restaurants.
- Certification:
You will be awarded a Certificate for the time studying in Miami and a Diploma for the period in France. In addition, you will receive an Internship Certificate and a French Certificate time you spend in Agde.
