Operation ABLE:
Operation ABLE of Michigan is a nonprofit employment and training agency that provides career counseling, computer instruction, and job-search assistance, primarily to mid-career and older adults (aged 40 and older). We offer a range of computer and skill-building workshops that will help adult learners improve their skills in using the Microsoft Office products and brush up on the reading and math skills that many employers test at the time of an application.
Since 1986, Operation ABLE of Michigan has been a leader in helping mid-career people obtain work and remain employable throughout their lifetime while also helping businesses develop a competent and dependable workforce.
ABLE's team of professionals works in partnership with employers, customers, and community organizations to provide personalized, high quality job search, job placement, occupational training and career transition services.
Our Mission:
Our mission is to provide market responsive programs to meet the employment needs of mature individuals along their career paths, to promote lifelong learning among individuals, businesses and government and to assist the employer community in developing a competent workforce.
