David Pressley School of Cosmetology is a beauty / cosmetology training school in Royal Oak, Michigan (just 20 minutes north of downtown Detroit). Our full-time beauty training courses are specifically designed for students interested in a career in the beauty industry. Our long standing reputation for providing quality services brings us a steady and solid clientele. This of course, provides students with ample opportunities for a hands on experience, closely supervised by our licensed instructors. Courses include Esthetics (4 months), Cosmetology (12 months), and Cosmetology Instructor Training (4 months).

All of our instructors are well trained, experienced and licensed professionals. They are committed to providing individualized attention and guidance to assist you in becoming an accomplished cosmetologist. This is made possible by the luxury of an excellent student / instructor ratio.

Job Placement / Student Services:
We are very visible in the industry and maintain excellent relationship with salons, spas and manufacturers. Therefore, we are in the position to offer effective job placement opportunities to our graduates. Financial aid is offered to those who qualify. We offer job placement information, and a resource center.

Facilities:
The building occupies close to 10,000 square feet of space, including 5 classrooms, a large ventilated clinic area that is fully equipped with shampoo bowls, styling stations and hair dryers. A reception desk and waiting area is also available for our clinic patrons.
