St. Roch Catholic School:
St. Roch Catholic School, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, is a fully accredited Elementary School offering grades Kindergarten through eight. Saint Roch School works cooperatively with the family, the Church and the community to provide each student with a foundation that will provide the cornerstone for their lives as they enter adulthood. St. Roch Catholic School offers each student the opportunity to learn and grow in a unique family atmosphere. Kindergarten through Grade 8 Curriculum:
St. Roch Catholic School follows the state of Indiana and Archdiocesan guidelines for textbook adoption, standardized testing and curriculum, including art, music, computer and physical education. St. Roch Catholic School maintains a First Class Certification from the state. St. Roch set high standards for its students, and teachers, parents and students must work together to attain these standards. Copies of the school's curriculum are available upon written request.

The guiding force of continuous curriculum improvement is the Archdiocesan Council for Excellence in Education (ACEE). Several committees of educators from the Archdiocese have studied the National Catechetical Directory, the Indiana Proficiency Guides, Archdiocesan Curriculum Assistance manuals, etc. and the group is now continually involved in the process of overseeing the revision of guides, assessments and training which is used in all Catholic schools within the Archdiocese. St. Roch School is represented on ACEE.

Daily Schedule:
- 6:30 a.m. School opens for Before Care
- 7:45 a.m. First Bell
- 8:00 a.m. Class Begins
- 2:55 p.m. Announcements
- 3:00 p.m. Dismissal

Before Care:
Students may enter the school at 6:30 a.m. For the 2004-2005 school year, there is a daily charge per day per child for this service. St. Roch Catholic School will not be responsible for students who arrive before 6:30 a.m. If for any reason school is not in session, or there is an announced delay, there is no Before Care.

After Care:
Care is provided for students of St. Roch Catholic School from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Fees are set at the beginning of each school year. Students who are not picked up within fifteen minutes of the bell will be sent to the After Care program.

Sports & Youth Athletic Board:
The Youth Athletic Board (YAB), in partnership with St. Roch Catholic School, offers a wide range of athletic opportunities for all students. Girls can compete in kickball, cross country, cheerleading, volleyball, and basketball. Boys can compete in football, cross country, basketball, wrestling, and baseball. We encourage you to let your child explore the numerous options that the Youth Athletic Board offers.

Child's Play Touring Theatre

Child's Play Touring Theatre, based in Chicago, Illinois, is a private touring theatre company offering workshops, residencies, after school programs, and summer camps across the USA. Child's Play Touring Theatre travels all over the country performing stories and poems written by children. Our mission is to share, encourage and validate the creativity of children by performing original works of theatre, music, and dance adapted from literature written by young authors.
