PC Maintenance and Repair
Designed to provide hands-on experience in all aspects of computer repair, this course covers assembling, configuring, upgrading and repairing IBM compatible PCs. You will also learn about troubleshooting software or hardware problems that arise from complex configurations of the modern commercial PC.

In addition, this course includes exercises including disassembling a PC, reinstalling and configuring all components, hard disk, adaptor cards, motherboard, floppy disk and CD ROM. You will also cover PC memory and its expansion, as well as the configuration and troubleshooting of IRQ's, I/O and memory addresses and adaptor cards. Specific methods that allow users to identify hardware and software problems will also be covered.
