Summer Spanish Language Camps in Spain

Travel & Education, Santander:
Travel & Education (T&E) offers summer study abroad, Spanish immersion programs to high school students at an accredited language academy in Santander on the beautiful north coast of Spain. Our mission is to create global-minded individuals through the superior instruction of language and culture, and Spanish is our expertise. T&E students can earn university / college credits and gain an academic advantage on their ACT/SAT scores, as studying a foreign language generally improves verbal scores.

Spanish Immersion Summer Programs for High School Teens:
All T&E programs include sociocultural events and excursions that allow students to use lessons from the classroom in everyday situations.
- 4 hours of Spanish instruction
- Spanish literature, culture, and Art program
- Intensive Grammar courses to perfect communication in Spanish.
- Oral Skills Practice courses to perfect speech.
- Spanish Literature, Art, and Culture courses available to students with higher levels of Spanish.

Cultural Activities:
After morning classes and lunch with your host family (where you can test out all those new words you learned in class!), you will spend your afternoon learning Spanish dances, going horseback riding, taking cooking classes, or exploring nearbyhistorical and cultural sites. These include trips to museums, spectacularnatural parks, and weekend excursions to Madrid and perhaps Aveiro Beach in Portugal.

Spanish Language Customized Programs:
T&E customized programs are created based on the needs of a group of students from your local institution. In order to do this the coordinator or chaperone must contact T&E with their desired group itinerary for a quote. (Minimum 15 participants necessary.)

Homestay Program with a Local Family:
Homestay is a personal experience of Spanish family life which will allow you to learn even more about the culture and what a typical day looks like in Spain. You will be welcomed by these diverse families, most of whom have had many students stay with them over the years, and you will undoubtedly learn a lot about the people and family life in Spain. 

Earn College Credit:
Get a jumpstart on your resume and your college career by earning credit through studying in Spain in just two weeks. Depending on your college/university, you can earn cultural or language credits through your experience with us. Study abroad in high school helps to make you a well-rounded, culturally conscious person who will find that such an experience will be helpful in the future in many ways.
