Turkish Language Center, Izmir:
Turkish Lanugage Center is a Turkish language school located in Izmir, on the western coast of Turkey. We offer Turkish language courses to students from all over the world as well as offering foreign language courses to Turkish students. We are a German-Turkish co-operation of Academia Linguae, based in Frankfurt (Germany ) and the EYE Turkish Language School in Izmir. The Turkish as a Foreign Language courses are held from Monday to Friday in the morning or afternoon. We provide standard language courses and tailormade individual training designed to meet the individual needs of the student. We are the only school in Turkey that offer special Summer Intensive Courses (30 hours per Week)

All our Turkish-language courses generally focus on 3 areas of particular importance: Turkish grammar and vocabulary; Reading, comprehension, listening and writing; Conversation.

Foreign Language Courses for Turkish Students:
At our Language Center Turkish students attend foreign language courses. Some of them also want to gain experience abroad mainly to practise their skills in the foreign language and to learn more about the culture, the people and the education of the particular country. Normally the classes are held on the weekends.

It's your choice if you want to live with a Turkish family, self catering apartment or to stay in a comfort hotel.

Homestay with Turkish Host Family:
Some of our host families are friends of us or friends of the teachers and provide honest and friendly hospitality. Depending on the wishes of our students single or double rooms are available. The double option is only available on request for two people traveling together. All rooms have a desk to work. You share the bathroom with the host family. The host families provide a Turkish breakfast and dinner. Make a note on the registration form if you have any allergies or any other special dietary needs. The distance to the host families ranges from 10 minutes on foot to 30 minutes by bus from our school.

Self-catering Apartment:
If you want more independence, then the placement in a shared apartment is the right choice! Similar to a traditional flat share, you live here in a single room and share kitchen, bathroom and large living room with your flatmate. Often the Students organize cooking evenings or plan activities together. EYE`s own apartment in Izmir is simple but fully equipped. The students are responsible for the cleanliness of the apartments during their stay. There is a direct bus route from the accommodation to school. An extension of stay without a language course is available upon request and availability.

If, during your language study in Turkey you do not want to miss the comfort of a hotel, then our 3***plus Comfort Hotel is the ideal choice. It is located only 10 minutes walk from the school and offers fantastic views over the bay of Izmir. The hotel is modern and has 18 rooms and a restaurant where your breakfast, lunch or dinner will be served. Each room is decorated individually and comes with air conditioning / heating, safe, 32´´ satellite LCD TV, minibar, hair dryer, telephone and WiFi Internet access.
