Hua Hsia Chinese School, North London
Courses / Programs
• With 2 branches in London, Hua Hsia Chinese School provides a wide range of Mandarin Chinese language courses for adults - from beginner to advanced level. Our adult classes take place in our Hampstead school in the borough of Camden in North Central London.• Students learn basic skills of conversation, reading and writing in Chinese. We offer evening and weekend classes that are specifically suited to the needs of our students.
• Hua Hsia is a place where our students matter, a supportive, nurturing environment that aims to encourage every student.
• We aim to achieve the highest standards in everything we do. We believe that Chinese language and culture can be fun and easy to learn, and we try to make our courses fun, with a wide range of activities, festivals, class presentations and various workshops which give students the confidence to use the language in their daily lives.
• Since 2001, we have taught more than 2,000 children and adults aged between 3 and 90 to speak and write Mandarin.
• Our Chinese language schools are easily accessible, just minutes from Underground tube stations. Our second branch is situated in Southgate in Enfield (next to East Barnet) in North London.
Hua Hsia Chinese School is organising our annual Chinese Culture Easter Camp in Hampstead (3/4 to 6/4) and Southgate (9/4 to 13/4).
Mandarin Chinese Conversation Courses:
Beginner to Advanced Level
• Adult - Beginner Chinese: For adults with no prior knowledge of the language
• Adult - Lower Intermediate Level Chinese: For adults who have either completed 2-year courses or have at least 80 hours of learning experience
• Adult - Advanced Level Chinese: For adults with good skills in conversation, reading and writing.

The Instituto Cervantes in London is located in the centre of town in Belgravia, London Borough of Westminster near to Victoria and Sloane Square tube stations. Its history as a Spanish cultural centre goes back over sixty years. The Instituto Cervantes in London is the only official Spanish Government Language Centre, a public institution founded in 1991 to promote Spanish language teaching and knowledge of the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries throughout the world. We offer general Spanish courses for foreigners, special courses such as conversation, business, teacher training and courses to prepare students for the DELE Diplomas. On-line Spanish courses are also available. There is a full programme of cultural events including lectures, film screenings, book launches, theatre and exhibitions. Lingua Diversa Group in Central London, England organises language lessons in Spanish, Italian, German, French, English, Russian, Chinese (Mandarin), Portuguese in our office in Holborn or at the client’s office or home.We run four terms per year in our offices, each term lasts 10 or 11 weeks. Evening classes start at 6pm or 7.30pm. Unlike other language schools, our groups are very small, min 3 – max 6 students, an ideal number to practise the language as much as possible and interact with the teacher. We also provide in-company corporate training.
All our teachers are qualified native teachers with experience in teaching in London. One-to-one and two-to-one lessons are also available and are more flexible: lessons can take place anytime Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 8pm.
