The Language Class:
Conveniently located in the borough of Tower Hamlets in East London, The Language Class offers a range of language courses for adult learners. You can choose to learn Spanish, French, German, Italian or Russian among other languages. We offer intensive courses, weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and evening group classes. We also offer private lessons - our tutor can come to your home or office in Central London (Zone 1 / 2) or you can come to our school.

We teach Spanish, French, German, Italian or Russian among other languages. Choose from:

- Private lessons (at your home / office or at our school)
Our lessons are task based, it is a very modern and effective way to teach languages. We focus on the use of authentic language, and the student do meaningful tasks such as visiting the doctor, ordering food at the restaurant or doing a job interview. This method is especially useful to develop fluency and confidence.
Sample Schedule of a Language Course:
Spanish A1 beginner course:
- Presentations: saying and asking names.
- Ordering at a bar: names of drinks and food, ordering drinks, asking for price, undetermined articles: un, una (a), There is, there are.
- Alphabet, useful questions like: “How do you say in Spanish….?, “What does ……. mean?”, “How do you spell?”
- Numbers from 0 to 20.
Week 2: Giving and asking directions. Places of the city: Library, station, cinema, swimming pool, restaurant, bar, shops, etc. Prepositions like: behind, opposite, in front of, on, in, at, under, etc. Saying the location: “Where is …?. Verb: estar. Articles: el, la, los, las (the). Numbers from 20 to 100.
Week 3: Descriptions of cities and countries. Adjectives to describe cities. North, south, east and west. Far, near. The weather.
Week 4: Saying and asking nationality (masculine and feminine), profession, places of work, address. 1st, 2nd and 3rd person present of regular verbs and present of verb “ ser ” (to be) . Saying and asking telephone numbers and e-mails. Present of the verb “tener” (to have)
Week 5: Uses de “tú” (informal you) and “usted” (formal you). 2nd hour: Revision of previous lessons.
Week 6: How to book accommodation in a hotel. Days of the week, months of the year.
Week 7: Buying food in a supermarket. Weights and measures. Quantifiers: “How many”, “How much”. Numbers up to 1000
Week 8: The family. Members of the family, marital status, age. Plural of the Present of regular verbs.
Week 9: Buying tickets at the train station.
Week 10: Descriptions of people (physical and personality) 2nd hour: Revision of previous lessons.
