Located in the heart of the city, FCAS provides sommelier training that can be taken as a one-week stand-alone course, or as part of our professional chef training courses.
In addition to short specialized courses, FCAS offers short-term and long-term chef training programs, which can be combined with restaurant internships and Italian language classes.
Sommelier Course in Florence: Duration: 1 week. This training is also included in our professional chef training courses
In the sommelier course, you will learn from a professional sommelier how to choose wines, how they are made, about thedifferent varieties of grapes, how to taste wine, how to handle them etc.
You will also visit the winery in Tuscany, learn how to combine wine with foods, and other activities that will help you to gain a comprehensive knowledge of Italian wine. Class size is kept to a maximum of 12 students.
This course is taught in Italian with an interpreter available in English or Spanish. Course Content: - Sommelier training
