English TEFL provides TEFL courses on the beautiful island of Phuket, Thailand. TEFL training is done on location with teaching practice in a local Thai school with authentic Thai students. We offer Thai immersion with the course giving you the opportunity to appreciate Thailand and its culture. Our mission is to deliver a course that will equip you to be a successful teacher, to secure a job offer teaching after the course and feel confident to teach in a classroom. We will ensure that you receive teaching practice in front of actual students as the best way to learn is by giving practical teaching lessons.

We offer a standard 3 week certificate course, 120 hours TEFL/TESOL and 10 hours teaching practice. The course runs from Monday to Friday with the weekends and evenings generally free. Teaching practices are authentic with real students in local schools.

A TEFL/TESOL certificate will give you the tools to teach English to students. You will be professionally trained and prepared for the teaching environment. A TEFL/TESOL certificate is required to teach in Asia. Our TEFL/TESOL course meets and exceeds the basic international criteria of 100+ hours of classroom time and 6+ hours of observed teaching practice. Work is available almost anywhere in the world where English is not the native language.

On the course we will introduce you to some Thai Culture; while you will gain some knowledge, you will never be a master of Thai culture, it will help you find a job and endear you to the Thai people.

There is a course each month which normally starts on the first Monday of the month.

Our TEFL / TESOL courses run for three weeks and are intensive study of classroom theory and teaching practices. Generally most evenings are free; however, there is some teaching and assignments to be completed in your own time. Classes run Monday to Friday from 09h00 to 16h00 daily with weekends free. Our location is in a lovely spot only 30 metres from the beach.

During the months when schools are on holidays/vacation there is still teaching practice done as English TEFL joins with the local town council in Bangtao Beach to run Summer Camps for the local children.

There are 5 spacious rooms in 2 bungalows next to the training centre and only 30 metres from the beach. Two rooms are en suite; one has its own private bathroom while the other two share a bathroom. The bungalows have fully equipped kitchens and communal areas. The prices include electricity, water and wifi..

TEFL in Phuket:
Phuket Island is Thailand’s largest island, it is 50km long and you're never far from the sea at any given point. Phuket is one of the world’s most famous dream destinations and you will most likely never want to leave. The island has so much to offer it is your choice if you wish to relax and enjoy the island’s natural resources or do some of the more adventurers activities. There is so much to enjoy during the three weeks of your accredited course.

Our training centre is set in the local community in Bangtao Beach and not in a resort. This gives you a unique opportunity to embrace the culture and become part of it. It also helps to prepare you for your teaching experience wherever you may go in Thailand after completing the course.
