Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, Valenti Lingua provides beginner to advanced level private Italian lessons, Italian classes and a positive student-centered learning experience to those who wish to learn to speak Italian. Our qualified Italian tutor is happy to meet with students in their homes, offices, in a library, bookstore or any other agreed upon location in the greater Phoenix area. Weekly lessons of one or two hours are highly recommended.

Private lessons are offered throughout the greater Phoenix area. Lessons are taught in the following cities: Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Glendale, Tempe, Chandler, Ahwatukee, Gilbert, Mesa, Queen Creek. Lessons may be given in an office setting, the student's home, a coffee shop, or library.

Qualified Native Italian-Speaking Tutor:
Davide Valenti is a native speaker of Italian who earned earned a Master’s degree in Italian from the prestigious Middlebury College in Vermont. While at Middlebury, he spent a year at the University of Florence in Italy.

Davide has been teaching Italian in Arizona for 13 years and has taught at Arizona State University, Scottsdale Community College and Chandler Gilbert Community College. In addition to teaching at these institutions, Davide has worked with many private students on an individual basis.

We use various texts, films, music, magazines, and other media to immerse the student in Italian language and culture. These “real world” materials are an excellent way to reinforce vocabulary and grammar, and to improve speaking, reading, writing and listening skills. Features include:
