The French Academy was founded in 2013 by two passionate and experienced native French teachers who wanted to provide the highest standards of learning French. They realized that a school was needed in the DC metro area to answer the specific needs of different individuals: adults seeking a tailored-made course, families with children of different ages, and also professionals, for whom flexibility and specific goals are important. Now we are developing into the DC Metro area, offering group classes for adults and children at convenient locations (K Street DC, Chevy Chase MD and Alexandria VA) and flexible one-on-one lessons.Our French language courses follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which sets standards for every stage of learning languages. • Situated in the heart of Washington DC, International Language Institute (ILI) is a quality language school which offers a wide range of Spanish language courses to students from around the world. • In addition to our beginner to advanced level General Spanish courses, we also provide a specialized Medical Spanish course and Spanish for Travelers.
• Certificate of Completion: On successful completion of the group language program with the required attendance and 'Passing grade' achieved, students can receive a Certificate.
• The General Spanish Language Program at ILI consists of four 10-week terms throughout the year. We are offering nine different levels from beginner to advanced, including two accelerated classes covering two levels in one term.
• Our teachers are all native-speaking and experienced. All of our Spanish language programs integrate speaking, listening, reading and writing. We maintain small class sizes to enable adequate time for conversation in every class.
