Online Degree Completion Programs:
To take online courses, all you need is access to a computer with a high-speed Internet connection and you can complete your course work from any location you choose.
- Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems (BBA/IS) degree program
- Bachelor’s of Professional Studies in Health Information Administration (BPS HIA) degree program
- Bachelor of Science in Homeland Security (BSHS) degree program
- Health Information Administration Bridge Program Option (Classes for students with prior education in an area other than health information who wish to gain entry to the BPS HIA degree program)
Each online course within our degree completion programs is delivered online over a seven weeks period, which is the same length as our accelerated on-ground courses.
You should log on to the course as often as possible and should expect to spend at least 12-15 or more hours of time per week, over the seven weeks. However, there is no requirement to be in the course on a specific day or time.
The time will be spent on reading course materials, working on the course assignments, and participating in online discussions with the faculty expert and other participants.
The online classroom may not look much like a traditional one, but it provides the same foundational basis for your education. Each course has its own website in Blackboard, an easy-to-use course management software program that builds your online classroom.
Within that course website, you can talk to your instructors, watch lectures, discuss stimulating issues in online discussion boards, find research links that lead you around the world, submit your homework, and work with a group of fellow students on specific group projects.
