Mount Carmel College of Nursing is a private, Catholic institution on the campus of Mount Carmel West Hospital, just west of downtown Columbus, Ohio. A provider of nursing education for more than a century, our baccalaureate program is among the largest in the state of Ohio.

Our academic offerings include both Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in Nursing, an RN-BSN Completion Program, a Second Degree Accelerated Program, a Graduate Certificate in Nursing Education, and more.

Through affiliation with Mount Carmel Health System, we provide clinical experiences at three large acute-care hospitals, a drug/substance abuse center, a nursing/rehab center, and a psychiatric facility, in addition to opportunities with community-based agencies and a local elementary school.

The College shares its campus with Mount Carmel West hospital, giving students convenient access to abundant opportunities for hands-on learning and on-the-job training.

The main campus building houses classrooms, staff and faculty offices, a lounge, and a gymnasium with a performance stage.

A new student recreation center on the lower level offers students a great way to connect with other students, study, purchase snacks, watch television and play games.

A beautiful new student residence complex comprised of two apartment style residences - Angela Hall and Holy Cross Hall - opened in 2007. Each fully furnished apartment unit houses four students and comes complete with two bedrooms, two baths, kitchenette, living room and washer/dryer.

Our Center for Learning and Education boasts a two-story health sciences library, a fully equipped computer laboratory, learning labs, and meeting rooms, as well as additional classroom space and an auditorium.

The College is on a bus line, and only a few minutes away from Columbus' vibrant downtown, Short North, Brewery, and Arena districts.
