Although Wittenberg's traditional strengths have been in the liberal arts, recently the sciences, management and education have also developed into popular majors for students.

With approximately 70,000 residents, Springfield boasts many "hands-on" learning experiences as well as shopping, restaurants, cinemas, parks, a reservoir, and a performing arts center that brings world-class entertainment to town.

Three major Ohio cities -- Cincinnati, Columbus, and Dayton -- are not far from town. Dayton and I-75 are located just 20 minutes west, Columbus is an hour drive to the east with interstate connections throughout the midwest and east, and Cincinnati is 90 minutes to the southwest.
