Ohio Institute of Allied Health, Huber Heights:
Situated in Huber Heights OH, 8 miles north-east of Dayton and 20 miles west of Springfield, Ohio Institute of Allied Health (OIAH), provide a wide range of on-campus allied health and holistic courses. Students can start a new career in the medical field with the highest level of education and low tuition costs. Our on-campus allied health programs include Massage Therapy, Medical Assisting, Practical Nursing, Registered Nursing, and more.
Allied Health & Holistic Programs:

Holistic Health Practitioner:
- 18 month Diploma Program offered on weekends
The Holistic Health Practitioner Diploma program is a comprehensive course of study preparing graduates for professional careers using holistic modalities including:
- Reflexology
- Hypnotherapy
- Neuro Linguistic Programming
- Specialized Kinesiology
- Aromatherapy
- Herbology
- Holistic Nutrition, and more.
Practical Nursing:
- 12 month Diploma Program
This course offers a unique holistic focus to the standard Nursing program. Our students learn about today’s fast growing complementary and alternative techniques, as well as learn hands-on techniques to utilize in your future career as a PN.
Registered Nursing:
- 12 month Diploma Program
This competency-based program is 52 instructional weeks in length and incorporates the nursing process as a teaching/learning tool.
Medical Assisting:
- 9 month Diploma Program with phlebotomy certification and general x-ray machine operator training included
OIAH's Medical Assisting diploma program is comprehensive and offers a unique blending of traditional courses with holistic modalities.
Massage Therapy:
- 12 month Diploma Program
This program is designed for people who want to focus on the clinical and rehabilitative approaches to massage therapy with a holistic understanding of healing.
The OIAH massage therapy program has a strong foundation in traditional anatomy, physiology, pathology, kinesiology, and medical terminology.
State Tested Nurse Aide:
- 3-4 week Certificate Course
This program focuses on basic nursing and personal care skills, as well as mental, social services and basic restorative needs.
General X-Ray Machine Operator:
- 3 week Certificate Course
This program focuses on clinical time spent learning radiographic equipment, film processing, digital imaging, and radiation safety.
