City College of New York:
Today's City College of New York - CCNY is a microcosm of New York City, with one of the most diverse student bodies of any college in America. Over half of our students were born abroad, representing some 90 countries. And these students and recent graduates are carrying on the tradition of excellence by winning prestigious awards and fellowships, gaining acceptance to leading graduate and professional schools and making their marks in the sciences, in the arts, in public service, in industry, in education.

School of Architecture, Urban Design and Landscape Architecture
The only public school of architecture in New York City, SAUDLA naturally emphasizes the urban experience in the midst of one of the greatest built environments in the world, and consistently produces top talent for some of the best architecture firms in the world.
The Macaulay Honors College at City College
MHC accepts new first-year students with outstanding academic records and provides an intensive program, built around a liberal arts core, for all majors. It includes opportunities to take honors courses at other CUNY honors colleges, career exploration and service.
School of Education
The oldest public school of education in the city, CCNY's School of Education provides beginning and advanced teaching credentials to ensure your success in the field.
The Grove School of Engineering
The Grove School of Engineering is truly unique — as the first public institution of its kind, it remains today as the most diverse school of engineering in the country. Boasting 6 nationally recognized programs, the Grove School of Engineering awards a full complement of degrees — B.E., M.E., and Ph.D.
Division of Humanities and the Arts
The Division of Humanities and the Arts at City helps students both broaden their general understanding - it offers much of the General Education curriculum students take in their first two years - and offers undergraduate majors and graduate programs in more than 40 programs.
Division of Social Sciences
Social science majors study why individuals, groups, governments, institutions, tribes, classes, men, women, and children do what they do...and learn how to use this knowledge to achieve important, positive change, stressing active learning, both inside and outside the classroom.
Division of Science
The Science Division consists of five departments and several interdisciplinary programs. Our research programs in such fields as photonics, nanotechnology, structural bbiology, neuroscience and environmental science, are well funded and highly productive. And more than 35% of our undergraduates actively participating in cutting edge research, supported by stipends.
Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education
Sophie Davis is the only school of its kind in the U.S. Students accepted into this highly competitive 7-year program study to become doctors at City College and our partner medical schools, or earn their physician's assistant credentials here and at Harlem Hospital.
Center for Worker Education
CWE provides a first-rate college education, leading to a City College bachelor's degree, through classes after work and on Saturdays. All classes and services are offered at one Lower Manhattan location.
