State Tested Nurse Aide/Assistant (STNA) Program:

Become an STNA and take the next step to change your life. LHCA offers a State-approved STNA training program. The STNA program is competitively priced, filled with valuable information and has classes forming often. All instructors are RN's and have over 10 years of experience in the nursing field each.

Phlebotomy Technician Program (58 Hours):
Larock Healthcare Academy now offers options for individuals to become Phlebotomy Technicians. Phlebotomy technicians work directly with patients to obtain the specimens necessary to perform testing for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.

Once completed with the phlebotomy program, students will be given the option to sit for a national test through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) to become a Certified Phlebotomy Technician. This is optional and employment is not contingent upon it; however, it will make an individual more competitive in the job Market.

Medical Billing and Coding Specialist Program (Evenings, 225 hours):
The Medical Billing and Coding Specialist can find a rewarding position as a health insurance claims processor or coder in a medical office practice. The content areas include medical billing procedures, insurance claims processing, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, CPT coding, ICD-9-CM Coding, HCPCS Level II coding, CCI edits, learning strategies and job search skills.

Certified Home Health Aide Program (Day, Evening & Weekend options):

LHCA offers a course to become a Certified Home Health Aide which meets Medicare’s requirements. Learn AND practice in lab simulation the skills and competencies necessary to succeed in the home health agency environment.

CPR | AED | First Aid - By the American Red Cross:
Certified by the American Red Cross, LHCA instructs individuals and groups on proper techniques and procedures for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults, children and infants as well as Standard First Aid skills.

Baby Sign Language Program:
During our Baby Sign Language class, parents will learn the basic signs a baby will need to communicate. The class will instruct you on how to teach your baby sign language, what to recognize when your baby begins signing and how to foster growth of their signing abilities. From hello, milk, and potty to mom, dad and sleepy, once completed with the workshop, you will have the knowledge needed to enhance your baby's life with communication.
