The newest CIA location is housed on the site of the former Pearl Brewery, near downtown San Antonio, TX. The state-of-the-art teaching kitchen at the CIA, San Antonio has been designed to provide modules and stations in which students can perform their lab exercises and be observed and coached on an individual basis.
The Culinary Institute of America, San Antonio, 312 Pearl Parkway, Building 3, is conveniently located less than 10 miles from the San Antonio International Airport.
From the airport, start out going north on Airport Boulevard and turn right. After 0.4 miles, take a slight left onto Airport Exit/Airport Boulevard, then turn right onto S. Terminal Drive. Follow for 0.3 miles, and then turn left onto N US-281/McAllister Freeway. Merge onto US-281 S via the ramp on the left towards downtown San Antonio. Continue for 6 miles, and take the Josephine Street exit towards Grayson Street. Stay straight to go onto Avenue A. Turn left onto Pearl Parkway.
