Phlebotomy Technician Certificate Program
Course Duration: One Semester. Courses begin in the fall and spring semesters.
A Phlebotomist is an allied health professional who draws blood from patients or blood donors for medical testing. They are employed in hospitals, physician offices, patient service centers, public health facilities, and insurance carriers.

This program consists of four courses:
- Phlebotomy
- College Composition I
- Introduction to Medical Terminology
- Clinical Phlebotomy Practicum

On successful graduation from this program, you are employable at an entry-level in general Phlebotomy, and will be eligible for the national examinations for Phlebotomy offered by the ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) and other agencies.
