1.Excel Health Careers CNA Training, Tacoma & Des Moines

With two training facilities in Tacoma and Des Moines WA, Excel Health Careers CNA Training provides a fully-accredited three-week Certified Nursing Assistant training program, as well as shorter-term Nurse Delegation, First Aid and HIV Prevention programs. Opened in 2002, Excel Health Careers CNA Training is fully-licensed by the state of Washington. Classes are designed to give students flexible options - with day, evening, and weekend classes available from both of our training facilities.
Our CNA program is approved by the State of Washington Department of Health and Social Services, and meets the federal and state regulations for nursing assistant training.
Upon successful completion of the Nursing Assistant program, students will be eligible to take the state exam which allows you to be placed on the Nursing Assistant Registry in the state of Washington and other states.

2.North Seattle Community College, Health & Human Services Division
Courses / Programs
Conveniently located on our state-of-the-art campus just off Interstate 5, the Health & Human Services Division of North Seattle Community College (NSCC) provides certificate and Associate of Applied Science degree programs in Practical Nursing (LPN), as well as an LPN to RN Ladder Program intended to help current Licensed Practical Nurses advance to Registered Nurse level. Our programs are approved by the Washington State Nursing Commission, and the LPN to RN Ladder program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.
Our instructors have many years’ experience in the field and a variety of interests, specialties, perspectives and styles. Graduates are highly successful in securing positions — the majority of graduates regularly find work. Our LPN students consistenly have a 100% pass rate and RN students have had between 92% and 100% pass rate on the national licensing exams for the past 3 years.
Recent renovations to our Nursing Center include an updated nursing skills lab — an intensive care unit, bedside electronic charting capability and other updated equipment to simulate current clinical environments.
