Conveniently located on our state-of-the-art campus just off Interstate 5, the Health & Human Services Division of North Seattle Community College (NSCC) provides certificate and Associate of Applied Science degree programs in Practical Nursing (LPN), as well as an LPN to RN Ladder Program intended to help current Licensed Practical Nurses advance to Registered Nurse level. Our programs are approved by the Washington State Nursing Commission, and the LPN to RN Ladder program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.

Our instructors have many years’ experience in the field and a variety of interests, specialties, perspectives and styles. Graduates are highly successful in securing positions — the majority of graduates regularly find work. Our LPN students consistenly have a 100% pass rate and RN students have had between 92% and 100% pass rate on the national licensing exams for the past 3 years.
