3D Universal English Institute:
3D Universal English Institute is a language school based in the Central Business District (CBD) area of Cebu City, Philippines. We specialize in practical English as a Second Language (ESL) training courses, TOEIC, IELTS, TOEFL and Business English courses at beginner to advanced levels. We provide a full range of programs to train the students’ communication skills using English. Our students come from all over the world, including Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Mainland China, Russia, Middle East countries, Jordan, Germany, France, and Spain. We provide full accommodation and meals during the students’ stay with the school. 3D is the only ESL school located in the commercial building at downtown Cebu City.

General English Courses:
The General English ESL courses focus on the speaking, listening, reading, grammar, and writing.
It is a personalized training course designed for students completely based on their level of English and preference.
It has 7 hours of lessons per day + 1 hour of free classes. The time is scheduled from 8am to 5pm everyday, with 2 hours break in between.
Most of the courses feature at least 4 classes of 1:1 (man-to-man/private tuition) class every day, which gives students numerous opportunity to speak English in the class.
Practical English:
- 4 classes of 1: 1＋3 group classes ＋up to 2 optional classes
3D Practical ESL is the trademark curriculum of 3D Academy, which offers 4 classes of individual one-to-one lesson, 3 group classes, and up to 2 optional classes. Each class lasts for 50 minutes.
With over a decade of experience, the school realizes that students cannot concentrate over a long period of class. 50 minutes is a good timing for a student to absorb everything in the class. After that, students can get a short 10 minutes break in between each class.
During the class break, students normally gather around the hallway and interact with other students or teachers, which gives them a chance for casual English communication. Which is the real reason why most of the students in 3D Academy knows each oth
ers well.
Business English

3D Business English course targets at Entrepreneurs and Businessmen from non-English Speaking countries, which offers 4 classes of Business 1 and 3 Business group classes, with up to 2 optional classes.
With the globalization trend, more businesses want to venture out of their origin countries and target at international audience, such as Japan and China. They know that English is the first step for doing business overseas.
There are some English business glossaries and terms which are used widely in the business conversation.
Students will get a chance to have a deeper understanding on how to manipulate an English conversation into an advantageous situation for their business.
Besides, students will also have the chance to build up the network with classmates who are from different countries.
3D Exam-Preparation Courses (TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS)
3D Exam English Preparation Course is suitable for students taking specific exams, such as TOEIC, TOEFL, and IELTS.
TOEIC is an exam commonly used in the companies in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan to determine the basic English levels of their employees. Whereas IELTS and TOEFL are the most prestigious examinations for students trying to study overseas in UK, US, Australia, or Canada.
Most teachers in 3D Academy who teaches the exam preparation course had gone through the examination themselves, and scored a range of 800-990 points of TOEIC, 6.5 – 9.0 for IELTS, as well as 100-110 for TOEFL.
The exam preparation courses offer 7 lessons of classes and up to 2 optional classes per day, which includes 2 Exams-Specific classes.
