Bridge Seminars,(The Study) Iloilo City:Six times a year a small group of international students gather around my seminar table in Iloilo City to learn and practice the conventions of academic English. For eight weeks, they engage in advanced English language training prior to beginning university study abroad. They learn the structure of English--what it is, how it is put together, and how it works. Most importantly, they learn how to effectively express their ideas in oral and written English.
