Bridge Seminars,(The Study) Iloilo City:
Six times a year a small group of international students gather around my seminar table in Iloilo City to learn and practice the conventions of academic English. For eight weeks, they engage in advanced English language training prior to beginning university study abroad. They learn the structure of English--what it is, how it is put together, and how it works. Most importantly, they learn how to effectively express their ideas in oral and written English.

Intensive English for Academic Purposes / University Preparation
Students in the 8 week English for Academic Purposes seminars participate in an intensive program that strengthens and enriches the following core academic areas:

1. reading and vocabulary development,
2. pronunciation comprehensibility,
3. grammar and structure,
4. composition and rhetoric,
5. research, presentation, debate,
6. autonomous learning.
