International Summer School for Teens in Imperial College London & Worcester College campus in Oxford, England:
An exclusive pre-university experience in London, UK for teenagers of ages 15-18 years old in summer 2024: The International Summer School for Teens offers an exciting and educational 3-week, residential summer school programme in London for both British & international students. Based on the Imperial College London campus, students choose one academic subject (Intensive English Language, English Literature with Creative Writing, Global Leadership, Study Skills - PRE IB including I-GCSE and S.A.T. exam preparation) as well as one Elective activity. Our stunning campus, situated in leafy South Kensington, is only 30 minutes from London's Heathrow International Airport. ISSFT's summer camp in historic Oxford is located at Worcester College campus (one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford). To support an English-speaking environment, nationalities are limited to a maximum of 10%.

• Global Leadership (Economic, social, political, and philosophical thought)

• Sport & Fitness (Fitness testing, plus indoor and outdoor team sports such as Soccer Football, Basketball, Softball, Touch American Football, and Pickle Ball Focus on teamwork & leadership skills).

Outline of a Typical Day of Learning + Activities:

In the morning, students study their chosen Academic subject. In the afternoon, students take part in their chosen Elective which is generally a sporting or creative activity which they want to develop over the summer months.

After classes, students take part in a full sporting and creative entertainment programme. Students can enjoy inter-house games, social events and live entertainment, with also opportunities to relax and spend time with new friends.

Our organised outdoor and indoor games & activities during the afternoon or evenings are designed to promote sportsmanship, encourage teamwork and build confidence in our students.

Fun sports and leisure activities in the afternoons or evenings may include Soccer Football, Cricket, Basketball, Badminton, Table tennis, Volleyball, Softball, Dodgeball, Swimming, Horse riding, Fencing, Hiking, Raft-building, Kayaking, Trampolining, Cookery, Art, Mindfulness, Yoga, Martial arts, plus Trips / Excursions (London).


• Intensive English Language Studies
Our Intensive English language course in London, England in 2024 is a total English immersion programme designed to encourage the proficient use of grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, writing and conversational English skills.

English lessons are project-orientated and require each student to present information to the class using their spoken language skills.


• English Literature with Creative Writing Course:

Students explore the creative writing process by exploring themes such as plot, setting, character development, visual description, point of view, imaginative language, and emotional appeal.

Goals & Learning Outcomes:
• Develop writing and comprehension skills in fiction, poetry, life writing and scriptwriting.
• Develop a wide range of creative writing skills by reviewing novels, short stories, poetry, plays, screenplays, and graphic novels.
• Learn how to form unique plots.
• Improve grammar and writing style.
• Use figurative language effectively.
• Find your own unique literary style and writing voice.
• Build overall confidence in the understanding and use of the English language.

Our global leadership summer coursPicture of Academic Courses - International Summer Camp in London & Oxforde introduces students to the study of economic, social, political and philosophical (PPE) thought with the aim of having a transformative effect on each student's personal growth and intellectual lives, and by extension, society as a whole. This class combines some of the most important approaches to understanding the world around us, developing useful skills for your future studies as well as a wide range of careers and activities.

• For future leaders (Boys & Girls ages 15-18 years old, British & international students). 
• Students additionally choose 1 of the following electives: Golf, Tennis, Rowing, Photography or Theatre (Drama / Acting techniques).

Goals of our Global Leadership Course:
• Understanding the principles around which society has been constructed.
• Develop your verbal skills: listening, focusing, presenting, debating and role playing.
• Develop your critical analysis skills for future studies, careers and activities.
• Develop your interpersonal skill as well as cross communication skills.
• Learn how to think strategically and to develop your own leadership skills on issues that are important to you.


Introduction to Coding and Big Data - Elective option:
• An Intermediate-level class for students interested in technology, computer programming & gaming:

Students will learn the fundamentals of coding, theory, language and animation including planning, writing and programming code, using CSS, Python and HTML and others. They will work on projects ranging from virtual reality, robotics, game design to app development, and gain an understanding of STEM and future career opportunities. This class develops problem solving, teamwork & communication skills.

- Learn the fundamentals of programming logic, language and animation
- Learn to code in CSS, Python and HTML (Skills learnt can be applied to other basic programming languages).
- Make and programme computer hardware
- Sample virtual reality and robotics, learn about their programming
- Work on mini projects including game design and app development
- Equipment: Students are encouraged to bring their own lap top so they can take their work home with them. Laptops can be provided if required and sufficient notice is given beforehand.
