Established in 2004, College of Management and IT (CMIT) is the leading provider of certified / accredited eLearning and distance learning education in Ireland. CMIT provides courses which lead to certification by the following Educational Bodies, Professional Bodies and Organisations:

- FETAC:  The Further Education and Training Awards Council (FETAC) is the national awarding body for further education and training in Ireland.

- Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM):  CMIT is an ILM-approved training centre and is authorised to provide ILM programmes which lead to ILM awards, certificates and diplomas.

- NCFE:   Awarding organisations design and award qualifications which recognise the skills, knowledge and understanding achieved by a learner at a particular level and in a particular subject.

- Ascentis:  Ascentis is a UK awarding body providing genuine accredited awards, and is licensed by the UK Qualifications and Curriculum Authority.

- Project Management Institute:  The Project Management Institute is the world leader and most recognised professional association of Project Management professionals.

- CompTIA:  The CompTIA A+ certification is the world standard entry-level qualification for computer technicians and engineers, recognised by employers everywhere.

- Oracle:  The Oracle Certification Program is a professional certification program offered by the Oracle Corporation. Oracle certifications are tangible, industry-recognised credentials that can help you succeed in your IT career and provide measurable benefits to your employer.

- Cisco:  The widely respected IT certification programs available through Cisco Career Certifications bring valuable, measurable rewards to network professionals, their managers, and the organizations that employ them.

Other Accreditations:
Travel courses are provided in conjunction with IAOT who provide FETAC and IATA approved programmes and courses. Telecommunications Industry Association is the accreditation body for Convergence Technologies Professional (CTP) and Certified in Convergent Network Technologies (CCNT).

CMIT Quality Assurance:
College of Management and IT (CMIT) has agreed its quality assurance procedures with FETAC and is registered with FETAC to offer programmes leading to FETAC awards in the National Framework of Qualifications. CMIT eLearning - How it Works:
You can log-in to your course anywhere you have an internet connection. Review your course resources online and upload your assessments when you are ready. You also have Tutor support if you have problems and your Tutor will provide feedback on your assessments. When you have completed all your assessments fully, your work is assessed and your certificate is issued to you.
