Our warm and friendly school is based in Sapporo, north Japan. Sapporo is a metropolitan city of 1.89 million and the fifth largest city in Japan, is the governmental, economic, and cultural center of the prefecture of Hokkaido offering a wide variety of educational and recreational opportunities. What sets Sapporo apart from other major Japanese cities are its low cost of living and its small foreign language-speaking population. This is beneficial as it makes staying in Sapporo relatively inexpensive, and the necessity to communicate in Japanese reinforces classroom training.

Students of SIL have included people from over 30 countries studying at national and private universities, along with employees of language schools, various companies and public institutions. SIL also trains teachers who wish to receive their certification in Japanese language instruction.Teachers:
The SIL staff is comprised of trained and dedicated instructors who wish their students to experience the Japanese language in its cultural context. Although SIL instructors are able to answer a student's grammatical questions in English when necessary, the SIL method stresses the importance of attempting comprehension in Japanese first.

Sapporo is the capital city of Hokkaido which has over 1.7 million population. Sapporo attracts many travelers through the year. Sapporo Snow Festival is held in February and is well-known internationally. Also, in summer when other parts of Japan are hot and humid, it's cooler and more comfortable in Sapporo. Another good part of visiting Sapporo is its food. The area is famous for its fresh seafood, BBQ, beer, ramen, and more. Visit this beautiful city in northern Japan.

WAHAHA Japanese Language School, Fukuoka
Courses / Programs
WAHAHA Japanese Language School provides a 4-week summer Japanese course for adults. We are located in the Tenjin area of downtown Fukuoka, the center of business, economy, administration, transportation, and culture for Kyushu Island (just one hour by air from Tokyo and Yokohama). Our summer Japanese program combines quality Japanese language lessons and Japanese traditional culture activities.Because WAHAHA is a small-scale Japanese language school, not only can we adapt to fit individual needs, but all staff members provide personalized support to assist students in attaining their goals. We offer Japanese language courses that are designed to help you achieve your dreams. Courses begin every Monday during the months of June, July and August.
The teachers at our school are experienced professionals in teaching Japanese language.
