Facilities, Join the QCH & QWC team and help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the patients, families, visitors, and employees we serve!
Quinault Community Health (QCH) and Quinault Wellness Center (QWC) are seeking two dependable and motivated Custodians to support custodial and facility needs across our multiple locations. This is an important role in maintaining clean, sanitary, safe, and welcoming healthcare environments where patients receive essential services every day.
Responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting patient care areas, offices, restrooms, waiting areas, common spaces, and other assigned areas; vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash and recycling removal; floor care; restroom maintenance; and maintaining custodial supplies and equipment.
The Custodian may also assist with routine facility upkeep within the scope of the position, including filter changes, light bulb replacement, battery replacement, and similar basic facility tasks. The position identifies and reports maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, safety hazards, or repairs requiring specialized maintenance.
Because QCH and QWC operate multiple healthcare locations, the Custodian may be assigned to different locations based on operational needs. Flexibility, dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential to success in this position.
Additional responsibilities include assisting with room and event setup and breakdown, maintaining organized custodial areas, completing required cleaning logs and documentation, supporting cross-training and coverage needs, and providing courteous and professional service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors.
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, notices the details others may overlook, enjoys keeping spaces organized and well maintained, and understands the importance of cleanliness and safety in a healthcare environment.

- Knowledge of appropriate cleaning, sanitation, disinfection, and infection prevention practices.
- Knowledge of safe handling, storage, use, and disposal of cleaning chemicals and custodial materials.
- Ability to safely operate custodial equipment and tools, including vacuums, floor buffers, carpet extractors, industrial vacuums, ladders, and other assigned equipment.

- Ability to recognize and report safety hazards, facility concerns, damaged equipment, and maintenance needs.
