Position Overview

Gerber Collision & Glass – Clack St, Abilene, TX – 1-2 Years preferred experience cleaning/detailing automobiles.

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including emptying garbage cans, cleaning floors, dusting countertops and work area.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
• Pre‑wash customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning. Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
• Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

• High School diploma / GED preferred and required.
• 1-2 years experience preferred in automotive.
• Ability to multitask.
• Clear vision required.
• 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Customer service abilities.
• Positive attitude.
• Trustworthy and reliable.
• Willingness to learn.
• Pulling/pushing, carrying, walking 5+; standing 5+; stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl 1+.
• Operate a motor vehicle.
