The Service Technician operates a company service truck and drives to various locations to service, pump, and clean portable restrooms and/or holding tanks. This position is the heart of our business.

• Perform basic service truck driving functions in accordance with USS and DOT requirements.
• Perform all work duties safely in accordance with USS and DOT safety standards to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Perform duties by sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and lift or push between 50 and 150 lbs. frequently during the work shift.
• Conduct portable toilet servicing to the USS 8‑point service standard.
• Provide customer service interactions at work sites to ensure clients receive the service standards required.
• Remain flexible to adjust routes as needed to meet customer needs.
• Offer routing feedback to the Operations Manager/Supervisor/Coordinator to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Strategically plan for customer needs by discussing present and future portable toilet requirements.

• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL or non‑commercial).
• Excellent time management, customer service, and communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.

• Sit while driving and stand while servicing products.
• Use hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Repeat the same movements.
• See details of objects that are a few feet away and at greater distances.
• Speak clearly so customers can understand.
• Understand others’ speech.
• Hear sounds and recognize differences between them.
• Walk up to 30 minutes at a time without exertion.
• Enter and exit equipment by stepping and kneeling.
• Lift up to 40 lbs. from your waist to your shoulders.
• Lift 30 lbs. from the floor to your head.
• Crouch and squat.
• Push and pull 100 lbs. horizontally.

$18.56 – $25.06 per hour.

At United Site Services, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position, applicable to all locations across the U.S. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by geographic location, job‑related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.
