Are you a dependable, hands‑on professional who enjoys solving problems and takes pride in maintaining a quality living environment? American Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support daily property operations and help ensure our community remains a great place to call home.

In this role, you'll assist with apartment turns, perform general maintenance and repairs, and help maintain the appearance and functionality of the property. This position is ideal for someone with general maintenance experience who is ready to grow beyond make‑readies and expand their skills in multifamily maintenance.

• Complete apartment turns and prepare units for new residents.
• Perform minor plumbing, electrical, appliance, and carpentry repairs.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and work order completion.
• Maintain community grounds, curb appeal, and common areas.
• Support property maintenance projects and inspections.
• Provide excellent service to residents and team members.

• General maintenance, make‑ready, or related experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, and repairs.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and commitment to resident satisfaction.
• EPA Universal certification
