Roadside Technician Commercial Tires - Abilene, TX

Job Overview

Roadside Technician performing emergency tire services on semi-truck fleets, including dismounting, mounting and repairing tires. Technicians respond to an on‑call rotation and after‑hours service requests. When no calls are pending, they assist shop maintenance and general duties.

• Perform commercial tire servicing: dismounting, mounting and repairing any type of tire.
• Execute match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial run‑out as required.
• Inflate tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements, wearing proper PPE, using tire cages, and following all safety policies.

• Valid driver's license that meets commercial driver qualification requirements.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous commercial service tire experience.

Starting pay $21‑$23/hr + double time 2‑hour minimum on‑call pay. Weekly earning potential $1,200+.

Mandatory on‑call rotation; respond to after‑hours service requests with a high acceptance rate. All after‑hours calls are compensated at a premium pay rate with guaranteed minimums.
