Total Store Sanitation Representative

As a Total Store Sanitation Representative, you'll maintain cleanliness and safety for an entire Store, inside and out, all while making our customers feel welcome. Key responsibilities include sanitation and maintenance tasks such as maintaining the Store's cleanliness and safety with a sense of urgency and prioritization, including floors, windows, break rooms, and restrooms. You will also maintain fulfillment of department hand wash sinks, clean and pick up trash and debris from flower beds and yard around the Store, use H-E-B chemical program and correctly organize and maintain stock in maintenance room, empty and clean trash receptacles throughout the store and each department, and ensure food safety and sanitation standards are achieved by following SOPs.

Additionally, you will communicate maintenance needs, problems, or solutions to Store Leaders and work with customers, attend to their needs, assist customers in the location of product, and perform all duties of Customer Service Assistant (CSA) when needed.

Qualifications and key requirements include being 18 years or older, having knowledge of OSHA guidelines, sack skills, the ability to take initiative and do what needs to be done, the ability to prioritize competing tasks, and a customer service-oriented approach. Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED or equivalent. Licenses and certifications required include completion of Company Orientation, In-store orientation, Basics of Safety, Annual Food Handler, and basic HAZMAT/Chemical Safety certifications upon hire.

Physical demands include constantly walking, reaching at waist, grasping, pushing/pulling with arms, frequently bending, occasionally sitting, standing, reaching overhead, at shoulder, at knee, at floor, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, pivoting, twisting, pinching, performing fine motor movements, and occasionally being exposed to cold, ambient temperatures, loud noise, and wet conditions. The ability to lift 50 lbs and manage in excess of 50 lbs is also required.
