Maintenance Associate

Sevita is hiring a Maintenance Associate to support safe, comfortable residential and program environments for individuals receiving care. In this role, you'll perform routine and preventive maintenance, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and minor repairs across homes and community-based sites. You'll complete work orders, inspect equipment, maintain clean and safe facilities, and respond to urgent repair needs. Working closely with care teams, you help ensure environments meet health, safety, and regulatory standards while supporting Sevita's mission of person-centered care and independence.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance in residential and program facilities
• Complete work orders for basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and minor repairs
• Inspect buildings, fixtures, and equipment and report issues promptly
• Maintain clean, safe, and compliant environments aligned with health and safety standards
• Respond to urgent maintenance requests to minimize disruption to care
• Assist with room setups, furniture moves, and general facility support
• Follow safety protocols and use tools and equipment properly
• Coordinate with care teams and supervisors to prioritize maintenance needs
• Document work performed and track supplies and materials used
• Support Sevita's person-centered mission by maintaining comfortable, accessible spaces
