As Maintenance Manager at Sevita, you will lead facilities, maintenance, and asset management operations across healthcare settings to ensure safe, reliable environments for individuals receiving home and community-based care. You'll oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for buildings, medical and mechanical systems, and life-safety equipment, manage vendor contracts and budgets, and ensure compliance with healthcare, OSHA, and state regulations. In Sevita's inclusive, growth-focused culture, you'll coach a small maintenance team, drive process improvements, and use CMMS tools and data to prioritize work, minimize downtime, and support high-quality, person-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day facilities and maintenance operations across assigned Sevita locations.
  • Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans for buildings, equipment, and life-safety systems.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare, safety, and environmental regulations (OSHA, state, local, and company standards).
  • Manage maintenance budgets, approve purchases, and oversee vendor and contractor performance.
  • Use CMMS to manage work orders, track assets, and report on maintenance KPIs.
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, and repairs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and emergency systems.
  • Supervise, schedule, train, and coach maintenance staff to ensure high-quality work and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with clinical and program leaders to minimize downtime and support safe, person-centered care.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase reliability and reduce costs.
  • Support capital planning and facility upgrades, providing technical input on projects and renovations.
