We are currently looking for a Full Time Maintenance Technician I to join our Community Services Maintenance Team 1 team located at the Facilities and Maintenance working 8:00AM-5:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.
Summary:
This position provides preventative maintenance, maintenance and repair to facilities assigned to the Division of Property and Facilities.
Responsibilities:
* Preventive maintenance to avoid damage caused by climatic conditions
* Assists with the maintenance/repair of assigned tribally owned facilities
* Assists with light construction to include minor roofing, painting, plumbing and electrical tasks
* Assists with providing winterization to assigned tribally owned facilities
* Completes work orders
* Records time and material used on work orders in WOM
* Alerts manager of any work activities or failure that needs to be reported to the line of support
* Keeps tools, equipment and vehicles maintained and stored appropriately
* Transports furniture, fixtures, and accessories for facilities
* Subject to 24-hour emergency and/or inclement weather call back
* Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types

- Determines needs, seeks positive experience and outcomes
* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
- Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment
- Maintains and promotes professionalism
- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
* Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
* Performs all other duties as assigned

* Advanced knowledge of carpentry trade, grounds keeping, tools and equipment

* Basic Computer skills

* Knowledge, skill and ability to operate hand implements
Experience:

* 1 year directly related experience
Education:
Essential:
* High School, GED or Equivalent
Credentials:

* Standard Driver's License
* Pass gaming background check
* Gaming license or permit as required by assigned position
