The Field Service Technician is responsible for:

• Performing setup, maintenance, calibration, repairs, and troubleshooting of equipment at client locations
• Creating a positive customer experience and serving as on-site technical support for client issues, working closely with our technical support team to help resolve customer problems
• Managing your own stock of spare parts and ensuring the movement of spare parts and equipment, while collaborating with the manager and parts managers to resolve spare parts stock issues

You will be based in the South/West region of the Île-de-France (ideally in the Yvelines 78), in this role, the Field Service Technician will be sent to different client sites with a company-provided vehicle (valid driver’s license required), within the defined perimeter; the position requires travel with regular hotel stays. You will perform preventive maintenance, routine repairs, and calibration/verification of instruments for Hach’s wide range of client sites, including municipal wastewater, drinking water, food, beverage, energy, and laboratories.

The essential requirements for this position are:

• BTS or DUT in instrumentation, electronics, electricity, or GEMEAU
• Previous experience as a maintenance technician or in instrumentation/calibration and validated experience in preventive maintenance (PM), diagnostics, and repair of basic products
• Languages:
  
  French, English required (B2 level)
