Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Lakeside Villas – Adel, GALakeside Villas is a brand-new 96-unit apartment community in Adel, Georgia, offering modern 2- and 3-bedroom apartments. We are looking for a dependable, skilled, and customer-focused Maintenance Technician to join our property team and help keep our community in excellent condition.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a new apartment community from the beginning and play an important role in maintaining the property, responding to resident needs, and helping create a great living experience for our residents.

What You'll DoPerform routine maintenance and repairs throughout apartments and common areas

Complete work orders promptly and professionally

Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, doors, locks, drywall, and other building components

Prepare apartments for new residents, including basic repairs, touch-ups, and preventative maintenance

Conduct routine inspections of apartments, buildings, grounds, and equipment

Respond to resident maintenance requests in a courteous and professional manner

Perform preventative maintenance to help reduce equipment failures and costly repairs

Assist with maintaining the appearance, safety, and cleanliness of the property

Help identify potential maintenance issues before they become larger problems

Maintain accurate records of completed work and maintenance activities

Work with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are needed

Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance standards

Assist with other property maintenance duties as needed

What We're Looking For Previous experience in apartment, hotel, commercial, residential, or building maintenance preferred

General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and building repairs

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple work orders

Good communication and customer service skills

Reliable transportation

Ability to use basic hand and power tools

Ability to work safely and follow established procedures

Must be dependable, professional, and able to interact positively with residents and coworkersHVAC experience or certification is a plus.

Experience with apartment maintenance, hotel maintenance, or other property maintenance is also highly valued.

Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials

Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb ladders, and work in various positions

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Ability to safely operate basic hand and power tools

Full-Time Monday–Friday schedule with occasional after-hours or weekend maintenance responsibilities as needed.
