Now Hiring Maintenance Technician
Affordable Living Community located in Adrian, Michigan. Full-time, 40 hours per week. Pay $1,900 per hour including comprehensive benefits and PTO. We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician to support a 114-unit affordable living community, ensuring residents have a clean, well-maintained environment.

What You’ll Do- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and units.
- Complete work orders efficiently, including light plumbing, electrical, and drywall repairs.
- Maintain building interiors and exterior grounds, including lawn care and snow removal.
- Prepare and clean vacant apartments for new residents.
- Respond to maintenance requests and address issues with minimal supervision.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and materials.
- Support general housekeeping and upkeep of shared spaces.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- At least 1 year of general maintenance or handyman experience (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, and general repairs.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, vendors, and contractors.
- Customer service mindset with compassion for individuals in affordable housing communities.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
- Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Current automobile insurance; personal vehicle may be required for work use.
- Availability for on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- A dynamic, hands-on role with a mix of indoor and outdoor work.
- Occasional extended hours during emergencies or seasonal needs like snow removal.
