Agawam South Rehab & Nursing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on maintenance professional with leadership experience who is committed to maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well‑maintained environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per year

As our Maintenance Director, you will oversee the daily operations of the Maintenance Department, ensuring the facility, equipment, and grounds are properly maintained and compliant with all applicable state and federal regulations. You will lead preventive maintenance programs, coordinate repairs, manage department priorities, and help ensure a safe environment throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, leading by example, and working collaboratively with other departments to support quality resident care.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of maintenance supervisory experience
• Building maintenance and repair experience required
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and facility operations
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Commitment to providing a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff
