Job Overview
Site Manager needed to work short‑ and long‑term projects on 12 U.S. military installations in the State of Hawaii, as part of USACE Programs. As the Site Manager you will conduct recurring maintenance inspections and repairs (planned routine and emergency) of the capitalized fueling systems at DoD facilities. Two facilities are on Kauai and Hawaii Island; the remainder are on Oahu.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities- Perform recurring maintenance on military fueling systems, including calibration, testing, and operation of valves and fueling equipment.
- Ensure on‑site quality control and troubleshooting of technically complex service orders per the Contract Performance Work Statement and service order Scopes of Work.
- Implement on‑site health and safety program and ensure safety regulations and project plans are followed.
- Conduct onsite briefings, safety tailgate meetings, task‑specific safety discussions, and out‑briefs with facility managers and subcontractors; ensure compliance with safety requirements.
- Manage and schedule subcontractors to execute multiple concurrent work orders.
- Gather field data for routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs; provide data to the project team (Project Manager, Engineer(s), Maintenance Manager).
- Manage electronic data using the program software to ensure proper system operation and quick deficiency reporting.
- Work with the maintenance team and other Aptim teams on high‑profile projects and closure efforts.
- Communicate and coordinate work with team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Minimum 5 years of fueling system experience or equivalent in piping, mechanical work, fueling upgrades, tank work, coatings work, inspections, and repairs.
- Experience working on fueling systems in Hawaii or similar environments desired.
- Ability to influence customer/organizational leadership to accomplish operational objectives.
- Strong safety background and focus.
- Considerable field work, including walking, squatting, kneeling, bending.
- Familiarity with UFGS, UFC, ASME Codes, API, and other standards highly desirable.
- Must pass background checks for military base access; security clearance (current or past) considered a bonus.
- Capacity for critical thinking to solve operational problems critical to mission readiness.

Estimated pay range: $89,000 - $147,000 per year.
