Daytime Custodian

Salary: $16.00 - $16.00 per hour

The Custodian/Cleaner will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of all areas of the facility to ensure a positive member experience.

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment, and gym floor.
• Stock locker rooms with proper supplies and paper products.
• Properly dispose of trash and maintain trash cans.
• Clean/dust items high off the ground (e.g., ceiling fans, TVs, rafters).
• Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment—such as toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment—to the Club Manager.
• Follow the Lost and Found Policy and turn in lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager immediately.

• Custodial experience is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Punctuality and reliability are musts.
• Honesty and an exceptional work ethic.
• Ability to solve problems independently.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions with appropriate behavior and language.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Occasional lifting of over 80 pounds.
• Exposure to toxic chemicals.
• Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
• Movement in various positions, including bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, and twisting to accomplish tasks.
