Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor manages a team of maintenance employees with different disciplines. A day in the life at Hubbell involves coordinating schedules and workflow for the team who repairs equipment and conducts preventative maintenance activities throughout the facility. The role also includes supervising day-to-day work of maintenance employees, leading maintenance personnel in reactive, predictive & preventative maintenance and machine repair, managing vendor relationships for trash removal, grounds, power, janitorial, water/sewer, HVAC, and other related contracts as needed, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, developing and maintaining key performance indicators for tracking and reporting on the performance of the maintenance department, actively participating in lean and continuous improvement activities related to the facility including utilization of predictive, preventive, and condition-based maintenance methodologies, managing inventory of spare parts, supplies and materials required for effective maintenance and improvement of the facility, equipment, and tooling, and participating in planning meetings, coordinating training, personnel, and equipment requirements.

What will help you thrive in this role? Bachelor's Degree preferred. 5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience required. 5+ years of leadership experience preferred. Experience managing outside service contractors. Strong working knowledge of relevant software systems (Office programs, SAP CMMS).
