Maintenance Technician II
Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility providing top quality and safe healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities since 1917. Aiken Regional provides comprehensive healthcare services including behavioral health, emergency medical care, orthopedic surgeries, maternity, rehabilitation services, imaging, and wound care.
ResponsibilitiesPerforms a variety of routing to skilled general preventative maintenance duties to include repairing, altering and modifying building, equipment and systems.
Duties- Maintain routine records and determine type and extent of malfunctions of equipment and, as necessary, adjust, disassemble, repair or replace parts or components then reassemble and test for proper operation.
- Maintain gas fire steam boilers and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper steam pressure, combustion, water flow, water level and operation of safety devices.
- Assist with the preventative maintenance on heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
- Perform general mechanical maintenance to kitchen equipment, boiler room equipment, etc., including complete all maintenance records of equipment.
- Maintain all gases to facility such as oxygen, nitrogen and vacuum systems needed for daily operation of the hospital.
- Assist with performing preventative maintenance on all HVAC equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned/required.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 – 2 years of general maintenance experience. Knowledge of general mechanics, electrical and plumbing codes.
- Driver’s License Required.
