Head Chef

Employer Old Town Restaurant
Lead culinary operations for a multi‑restaurant establishment, including menu planning, staffing, and ensuring food quality and safety.
Responsibilities- Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items
- Estimate labour costs
- Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
- Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets and specialty functions
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities of several restaurants
- Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
- Recruit and hire staff
- Supervise activities of sous‑chefs, specialist chefs, chefs and cooks
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 3 to less than 5 years
- Location: 2007 Mistassiniy Road, Wabasca‑Desmarais, AB T0G 2K0
- Work location: On site
- Salary: $36.10/hour
- Hours per week: 30 to 40 hours
- Terms of employment: Permanent, full-time
- Shift availability: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend
- Start date: Starts as soon as possible
- Vacancies: 1
