Maintenance Person; Teamsters

Reports to:

Facilities Manager

Essential Functions of this classification shall be to repair and maintain METRO RTA buildings and grounds as may be required.

• Repair and maintain roofs, windows, doors, plumbing system,
• painting of walls or buildings,
• moving and or repair of office furniture,
• minor electrical repair and maintenance of electrical motors,
• controls and circuits of HVAC system,
• doors,
• pump system,
• wash rack,
• lighting systems,
• pressure washers,
• lift pumps,
• changing of snow blades and sweep/scrub brushes if no mechanical work is involved,
• plow snow and spread salt,
• perform preventative maintenance programs.
• keeping required logs of service tasks and dates, and
• other duties relative to maintenance of buildings and grounds.

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Must be able to speak clearly and hear during ordinary conversation, see near and far and accurately judge depth perception. Must have and maintain a valid Ohio driver’s license.

• Minimum of 2 years job-related experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
